Role Summary
You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and registering new candidates into our recruitment pipeline, ensuring they meet all compliance and clearance requirements.
You will also be responsible for
building and maintaining a strong pipeline of active, work-ready candidates
and
filling open positions promptly
in line with client needs.
Your focus will be on growing the company's database of cleared candidates, ensuring the availability of high-quality staff who can be placed quickly and compliantly into schools.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing & Registration
- Actively source and attract teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, and cover supervisors through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and partnerships.
- Screen applicant CVs and applications for suitability based on experience, qualifications, and role fit.
- Conduct initial video interviews to assess skills, availability, and preferences.
- Guide candidates through the registration process, including document collection, reference checks, qualification verification, right-to-work, safeguarding, and DBS checks.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the CRM or applicant tracking system.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Monitor candidate clearance status and chase outstanding documentation or references.
- Liaise with compliance teams to ensure all checks (DBS, references, identity, qualifications) are valid and up to date.
- Flag any risks or issues with candidate eligibility and resolve or escalate as needed.
- Maintain high standards of candidate data integrity, confidentiality, and GDPR / data protection compliance.
Filling Open Positions
- Match cleared and compliant candidates to current job openings within schools and educational institutions.
- Coordinate candidate availability with client needs to ensure timely placements.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates to confirm readiness, interest, and ongoing availability.
- Support the delivery of excellent service to both candidates and clients through responsiveness and attention to detail.
Commission & Incentives
- For
every candidate cleared and ready to work,
once they have
worked 10 days in total
, you will receive the following commission amount:
8,500 KES per candidate
.

Essential:
- 6 months previous experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
- Comfortable managing high volumes of sourcing, screening, and compliance activities.
