Our client, a prestigious international financial institution, is looking for an experienced Lead Quantitative Analyst to spearhead the development of sophisticated trading strategies and risk management models. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing, backtesting, and implementing quantitative models for various financial markets, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives. Your role will involve rigorous statistical analysis, financial modeling, and algorithm development. We expect you to conduct in-depth market research, identify trading opportunities, and optimize existing strategies for enhanced profitability and reduced risk. Collaboration with portfolio managers, traders, and other quants will be crucial, requiring excellent communication skills in a virtual environment. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, and SQL is essential. Experience with financial data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and a strong understanding of machine learning techniques applied to finance are highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess a Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering. A proven track record of successfully deploying quantitative trading strategies in live markets is a must.
