Our client, a dynamic technology solutions provider, is looking for enthusiastic and eager individuals to join their fully remote apprenticeship program as Junior Network Administrators. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop critical skills in network management within a supportive and collaborative virtual environment. As a Junior Network Administrator Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced IT professionals, assisting with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our client's computer networks. This remote apprenticeship allows you to learn and grow from your home office. Key responsibilities will include monitoring network performance, assisting with user support and troubleshooting network connectivity issues, installing and configuring network hardware and software, performing routine network maintenance tasks, and contributing to network documentation. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses strong problem-solving abilities, and has a foundational understanding of computer systems and networks. A completed secondary school education or equivalent is required, with a strong academic record in science or technology subjects being advantageous. While prior professional experience is not mandatory, demonstrated personal projects or relevant coursework in IT or networking will be highly regarded. You should possess excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions diligently. Familiarity with basic networking concepts and operating systems (Windows, Linux) is beneficial.
