You will play a crucial role in analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and increase overall operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain principles, advanced analytical skills, and a proven ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize stock-outs, and reduce carrying costs.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the distribution network and recommend solutions for improved routing, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, procurement, operations) and external partners (suppliers, logistics providers) to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics and modeling techniques to forecast demand and plan production/procurement accordingly.
  • Monitor key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports for management.
  • Identify potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain and develop contingency plans.
  • Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems.
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes impacting the FMCG supply chain.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain analysis, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven experience in demand forecasting, inventory management, and logistics optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, or R, and experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively remotely.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
