Our client, a leader in industrial equipment and solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Field Service Technician to manage and support their service operations remotely. While the role involves remote management and coordination, the successful candidate will leverage their extensive technical expertise to guide on-site technicians, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure optimal performance of installed equipment. This is an ideal position for a seasoned technician who excels in problem-solving, communication, and possesses a strong understanding of electromechanical systems.

- Provide remote technical support and guidance to field service technicians for complex installations, maintenance, and repair issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using remote diagnostic tools and technical documentation.
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures for equipment servicing and maintenance.
- Create and update technical manuals, service guides, and training materials for both internal staff and customers.
- Analyze service reports and performance data to identify recurring issues and recommend proactive solutions.
- Coordinate with engineering and product development teams to relay field feedback and contribute to product improvements.
- Manage spare parts inventory and service logistics for assigned regions.
- Monitor service performance metrics and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct remote training sessions for field technicians and customer maintenance personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of all service activities, diagnostics, and resolutions within the service management system.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical support role.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex electromechanical systems, industrial machinery, or relevant equipment.
- Strong understanding of control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to individuals with varying levels of technical understanding.
- Proficiency in using remote diagnostic tools, ticketing systems, and relevant software applications.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for critical support or training if required (though the role is primarily remote).
- Relevant certifications in specific equipment or technical fields are highly desirable.
