This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to contribute to critical oil and gas projects without geographical constraints. You will be responsible for analyzing and modeling subsurface reservoirs to optimize hydrocarbon recovery, forecast production, and support field development planning. Your expertise in reservoir simulation software, data analysis, and understanding of petrophysical and geological data is paramount. You will lead a team of reservoir engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of reservoir characterization and performance predictions. Responsibilities include developing and executing simulation studies, evaluating production enhancement techniques, and contributing to strategic decisions regarding reservoir management. You will collaborate closely with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to provide comprehensive reservoir insights. A deep understanding of fluid flow in porous media, reservoir engineering principles, and economic evaluation techniques is essential. A Master's or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience, or a related field is required, along with extensive experience in reservoir engineering roles within the oil and gas industry.
