Job Description

Role Overview
We are currently looking to bring on board an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our growing Renewable Energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning of large-scale solar PV farms and battery systems across the UK as well as SAP/CE for Ethical power.

This role is based on site, and requires travel across the UK dependent on business needs.
What will you be doing?

  • Ensuring as-built drawings/documents are marked up correctly and updated where necessary.
  • Produce all the commissioning documentation, including programme and test procedures.
  • Manage all the commissioning activities required within a large solar farm project (from HV connection to modules and auxiliary systems such as active management system, SCADA, etc.)
  • Manage G99 requirements
  • Manage interface activities with ICP
  • Facilitate transition from construction phase to operations & maintenance (O&M)

What are we looking for?

  • Must have previous experience of commissioning large scale Solar PV farms and BESS
  • SCADA Commissioning experience
  • Knowledge and experience of G99/G100 testing
  • Flexible approach with the ability to travel across various sites within the UK and working away from home
  • Experience with relay testing and relay programming
  • Primary injection testing
