Our client, a rapidly growing technology consultancy, is looking for an exceptional Principal Technical Recruiter to lead their talent acquisition efforts for software engineering roles. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to operate from anywhere and tap into a global talent pool. You will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for highly specialized technical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of successfully identifying and attracting top-tier software engineering talent, understanding complex technical requirements, and building strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Key responsibilities include developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates; conducting in-depth technical screenings and behavioral interviews; managing the candidate experience to ensure a high level of engagement and satisfaction; partnering closely with engineering leadership to understand team needs and define hiring plans; and leveraging various recruitment tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, specialized job boards). You will also contribute to employer branding initiatives, participate in virtual career fairs, and mentor junior members of the recruitment team. Expertise in recruiting for niche technologies and a strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) are crucial. Exceptional negotiation and closing skills are essential. You must possess outstanding communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 7 years of experience in technical recruiting, with a significant focus on software engineering, is required. Professional certifications such as CIR (Certified Internet Recruiter) or SPR (Society for Human Resource Professionals) are a plus.
