The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, supply chain management, and quality control within a high-volume production environment. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, meeting output targets, maintaining the highest quality standards, and managing a diverse team. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving operational excellence and contributing to the company's growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts and operational goals.
  • Manage and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure adequate material flow.
  • Monitor production KPIs and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance departments to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and improve overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in manufacturing production management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience with lean manufacturing methodologies and quality management systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, essential for managing remote teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage complex operations remotely.
