- Contribute to grant writing and secure external funding for research projects.
- Manage laboratory equipment, supplies, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional research and development teams.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in molecular biology and related fields.
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of post-doctoral research experience, with a significant portion in a lead or supervisory role.
- Extensive hands-on experience with a broad range of molecular biology techniques (e.g., gene cloning, PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, flow cytometry).
- Proficiency in CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and next-generation sequencing (NGS) applications.
- Strong understanding of cellular biology, genetics, and immunology.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation, including statistical analysis and bioinformatics.
- Excellent scientific writing and presentation skills, with a track record of publications.
- Proven ability to secure research funding is a strong plus.
- Experience in mentoring and managing research teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
