Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainable agronomic strategies and best practices.
- Advise on crop management, soil health, water conservation, and integrated pest management.
- Conduct virtual field assessments and data analysis to inform recommendations.
- Develop customized plans for optimizing yield and resource efficiency.
- Promote environmentally sound practices in agriculture and forestry.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of sustainable initiatives.
- Stay abreast of advancements in agronomy, agri-tech, and sustainable agriculture.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to the development of new sustainable agriculture programs and projects.
- Master's degree or PhD in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in agronomy and sustainable agriculture.
- Proven expertise in crop production, soil management, and integrated pest management.
- Strong understanding of climate-smart agriculture and environmental conservation.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation in an agricultural context.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote environment.
- Passion for sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
