  • Monitor media coverage and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns, providing regular reports.
  • Advise senior leadership on communication strategies and potential reputational risks.
  • Organize and manage press conferences, media briefings, and other communication events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, current events, and relevant news impacting the organization.
  • Maintain and update media contact databases.
  • Mentor junior communications staff and external agency partners.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful PR campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and persuasive writing.
  • Strong media relations experience and a network of contacts in relevant industries.
  • Proficiency in media monitoring and analysis tools.
  • Experience in crisis communications management.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and management tools.
  • Experience in speechwriting and executive communications is a plus.
