This fully remote role requires a deep understanding of energy technologies, building systems, industrial processes, and sustainability principles. You will be responsible for assessing energy usage, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and developing comprehensive strategies for energy efficiency improvement. Your expertise in energy audits, performance modeling, and sustainable practices will be vital. - Quantify energy savings and environmental benefits, developing business cases for proposed solutions.

- Stay current with advancements in energy efficiency technologies, building codes, and sustainability regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and technical teams in delivering client services.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to achieve optimal energy performance.
- Contribute to the development of new service offerings and methodologies in energy efficiency.
- Analyze energy data and market trends to provide strategic insights to clients.
- Champion sustainability initiatives and promote best practices in energy conservation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and client requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy), Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in energy efficiency consulting, energy management, or a related role, with significant experience in remote project leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting energy audits (e.g., ASHRAE standards) and implementing efficiency measures.
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, lighting, insulation), industrial processes, and renewable energy technologies.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., eQUEST, EnergyPlus) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver results in a remote setting.
- Knowledge of utility incentive programs and carbon accounting principles is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as CEM (Certified Energy Manager) or LEED AP are advantageous.
