- Collaborate closely with R&D, operations, and engineering teams globally to translate laboratory innovations into scalable industrial processes.
- Ensure all processes comply with stringent safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs on process engineering best practices and new technologies.
- Mentor junior chemical engineers and contribute to the overall technical excellence of the engineering department.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in chemical engineering and process intensification.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in chemical process engineering, with a strong focus on process design, optimization, and troubleshooting in industrial settings.
- Extensive experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD, HYSYS) and data analysis tools.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements that have led to significant cost savings or efficiency gains.
- Deep understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, mass transfer, heat transfer, and reaction engineering.
- Experience with process safety management (PSM) principles and HAZOP studies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward in a remote work environment.
