These positions will serve as a professional Electronics Engineer with project management, execution, and operational responsibility in assigned area(s) within AFSC/SW Directorate. Considered the technical expert for the organization in electronics engineering assignments concerning assigned project/programs; employee provides technical leadership and management to ensure project/program success.
Work includes, but is not limited to:
- Software Engineering and architecture, hardware design, modeling and simulation, embedded systems, a broad span of programming languages, software development and engineering tools in support of various weapon systems platforms
- Supporting various programs, including Cloud-based Software Development Environments, Joint Simulation Environment, Depot Engine Testing, Independent Verification Organization, Advanced Battle Management System, and Undergraduate Remote Pilot Aircraft Training, requiring expertise in software development, systems engineering, cloud technologies, and program management
