**Job Description**
Monitors and maintains aviation, diesel, and mogas fuels in the tanks of a fuel farm. Performs usage calculations, initiates service orders, and required fuel amounts for tank filling. Performs routine logistical functions including preparation of receiving or shipping documents. Gauges tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels. Completes inspections, sampling and analysis in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures.Additional activities may include operating and maintaining an automated fuel management system, operating a fulling integrated fuel laboratory incidental to bulk fuel operations and using a government AIS for the accountability and issuing of fuels and information management. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on fuel terminal systems. May operate and maintain retail fuel systems as assigned. My be asked to operate and maintain fuel systems at a seaport. Performs work in accordance with AR 710-2, AR 735-5, MIL STD 3004-C, APT 4-43, DA PAM 710-2-1. Other duties as assigned.
**Basic Job Requirements**
High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and Minimum of one (1) year related experience

Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.
