- Develop and implement comprehensive energy efficiency strategies and action plans.
- Analyze energy consumption data and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
- Design, specify, and oversee the implementation of energy-saving technologies and systems.
- Evaluate the performance of existing equipment and recommend upgrades or retrofits.
- Conduct lifecycle cost analyses for energy efficiency projects.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and clients.
- Stay current with advancements in energy efficiency technologies, renewable energy, and sustainability practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant energy codes, standards, and regulations.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of technical expertise within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in energy efficiency engineering, energy management, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial processes, and energy conservation measures.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., HAP, eQUEST) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful energy efficiency projects.
