This is a hybrid role, requiring a balance of remote work flexibility and in-person collaboration for critical team meetings and brainstorming sessions at our facilities. While the conceptual location is Ongata Rongai, Kajiado, KE , you will have the ability to work remotely for a significant portion of your time.

Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in AI/ML research, with a proven track record of significant contributions (publications, patents, successful product integrations).
  • Deep expertise in one or more AI/ML subfields (e.g., deep learning, NLP, computer vision).
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML research (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Strong theoretical and practical understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
  • Experience leading research teams and managing research projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in both independent and collaborative settings.
