You will be instrumental in shaping the culinary direction and ensuring consistent quality across multiple virtual kitchen locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and refine innovative menu items tailored for delivery, focusing on flavor, presentation, and portability.
  • Create detailed recipes and standardized preparation procedures for all menu items.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of food across all virtual kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain managers to source high-quality ingredients and manage food costs effectively.
  • Develop and implement food safety and sanitation protocols in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Train and guide kitchen staff (remotely and/or on-site as needed) on culinary techniques, recipes, and quality standards.
  • Monitor food trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for menu innovation.
  • Analyze customer feedback and sales data to optimize menu offerings and improve dishes.
  • Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and ensure availability.
  • Contribute to the development of packaging solutions that maintain food integrity during delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new kitchen team members.
  • Maintain a high level of culinary creativity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a Head Chef or Sous Chef role, preferably in a high-volume or multi-unit environment.
  • Proven expertise in menu development, recipe creation, and food costing.
  • Demonstrated ability to create delicious and appealing dishes suitable for delivery.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and sanitation principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced remote work environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for food and innovation.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools for recipe management and communication.
  • Experience with virtual kitchens or ghost kitchens is a significant advantage.
