This is a full-time on-site role for an Intermediate Safari Tour Consultant located in Karen-Nairobi Kenya.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, handling reservations efficiently, following the manager's guidelines to ensure smooth and error-free operations, in line with the company's standards.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, accurate, and productive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.
This is an internal operations role with
no direct communication with clients

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare

As an AU Intermediate Accountant with an award-winning firm, you will be responsible for maintaining key accounting records. Day-to-day activities include recording transactions such as income and outgoings and posting them to various accounts. Duties And Responsibilities
- Xero account coding & bank reconciliation for weekly and monthly bookkeeping clients
- Prepayments/Accruals/Fixed asset coding & reconciliations
- Processing of payroll through Xero
- Processing supplier invoices in Hubdoc
- BAS / IAS preparation
- Processing of Payroll - adding new staff, bonuses, benefits, etc.
- End-of-year payroll reporting
- End of tax year (30 June) reconciliations / returns for BAS
- Worker Compensation estimates and actuals declarations
- Preparation and review of management accounts pack from Xero each month
- Potential growth into processing individual Australian tax returns
- Proactively raise potential risks for clients and the business based on data and observations from checks performed and provide recommendations to mitigate impacts

Qualifications
Education
- Should be a graduate of Finance and or Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) OR Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred
Product Knowledge
- Complete knowledge of client accounts and businesses
- General AU Accounting/Bookkeeping experience with solid background
- 2 years or more of experience in Australian accounts
- Knowledge of Australian Taxation and Compliance is advantageous
