Job Description
BME Fire Trucks is seeking experienced Material Handlers to be a part of our Inventory Team. This role demands detail-oriented individuals who can manage material movement efficiently, maintain organized inventory areas, and support production needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves working closely with receivers, pickers, paint and production employees.

As a Material Handler, Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Supporting production staff with timely deliveries, part/material returns processing, and inventory problem-solving.
  • Assisting in the coordination of material and part needs across departments, communicating promptly with the necessary teams.
  • Performing cycle counts, Organizing and maintaining staging areas, and materials issuing as needed to keep production running smoothly.
  • Using forklifts to load, unload trailers, and move parts between operations.
  • Transportation of palletized parts using a pickup truck and flatbed trailer.
  • Delivering and picking up parts of varying sizes and priorities using company vehicles as needed.
  • Representing BME professionally when interacting with third-party partners.
