Our client is seeking a reliable and diligent Commercial Cleaner to join their team in Ruiru, focusing on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in commercial spaces. This role requires on-site presence during night shifts and is not remote. You will be responsible for a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, and ensuring all assigned areas are kept tidy and presentable. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial cleaning, be physically fit, and possess a keen eye for detail. You must be able to work independently, follow instructions carefully, and adhere to strict safety and sanitation protocols. Understanding of different cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial. This position is crucial for creating a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties in commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
- Previous experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning.
