You will collaborate with distributed teams of engineers, product managers, and data scientists, translating business requirements into robust and resilient cloud architectures. Your responsibilities will include evaluating new cloud technologies, developing migration strategies for on-premises systems, and establishing best practices for cloud governance, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. A strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and infrastructure as code (IaC) is essential. You will also be involved in pre-sales technical discussions and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions for electrical engineering applications, IoT, and data processing.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of cloud services and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop cloud migration strategies and roadmaps for existing on-premises electrical engineering systems and data centers.
- Define and implement cloud governance policies, security standards, and cost management best practices.
- Architect and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery for cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and software developers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and cloud infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and develop proactive solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture, with a significant focus on electrical engineering applications or IoT.
- Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and identity management.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
