Role Description

Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Company Driver to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, goods, and official guests, while ensuring the
safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of company vehicles in accordance with set policies.
Key responsibilities
• Provide transportation services for staff, official guests, goods, and other assignments
within and outside company premises.
• Ensure that assigned motor vehicles are properly maintained, including performing basic
mechanical checks, and that all required documentation, permits, and accessories are up
to date.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against delivery notes during loading and offloading.
• Maintain accurate records such as vehicle logs, cargo documentation, and fuel card
receipts, in line with company policies.
• Ensure the safe custody of company vehicles and their contents while in transit.
• Report mechanical issues or other vehicle faults to the Logistics Officer promptly and
follow up to ensure timely repairs.
• Report any delays, accidents, or incidents immediately to the supervisor and ensure all
required protocols (including police reports and photographic evidence) are followed.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 8 years' experience working in an FMCG environment.
• Valid Police Certificate of good conduct
• Valid clean driver's license class B, C1, C.
• Basic Computer Training will be an added advantage
• Minimum of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education certificate.
• Basic Life Support Training or First Aid Skills will be an added advantage
• Certification of driving by a professional body (AA of Kenya etc.) will be an added
advantage.
• Defensive driving certification will be an added advantage
