You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, simulating, and testing new mechanical components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and cost targets. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and a proven ability to innovate.

Key responsibilities include leading the design process for new mechanical products from concept to production. You will utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) for detailed 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Performing engineering analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to validate designs and predict performance will be crucial. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure integrated product development is essential. Developing prototypes, conducting rigorous testing, and iterating on designs based on test results will be a core function. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, including specifications, BOMs, and design reports.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 6-8 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development. Proven expertise in CAD software is mandatory. Experience with simulation and analysis tools (FEA, CFD) is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles is essential. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills are required to articulate technical concepts effectively in a remote setting.
