Job Description
The Ashoka Fellowship Program is a global community of the world's leading social entrepreneurs, changemakers who are pioneering solutions to the world's most pressing challenges. In Africa, the Fellowship is entering an exciting new phase following the Inaugural Fellows Summit (Nairobi 2025) and in the lead-up to the Cairo 2026 Summit: "Accountability for Africa – Social Transformation Led by Social Entrepreneurs." To amplify this movement, Ashoka is seeking a committed Social Media Manager (Volunteer) to design and execute digital strategies that showcase Fellows' impact, engage diverse audiences, and strengthen Ashoka's visibility across Africa and globally.
Scope Of Work -- The Volunteer Will
- Develop and implement a social media content strategy for Ashoka Fellowship Africa and the 2026 Fellows Summit.
- Manage Ashoka Fellowship Africa's social media platforms (Ashoka Fellowship LinkedIn page and Podcast).
- Create engaging content (posts, stories, graphics, short videos) highlighting Fellows, collaborative initiatives, and celebrating their key milestones on international days.
- Monitor analytics and optimize campaigns for engagement and reach.
- Support live coverage of Fellowship events and the Cairo 2026 Summit.
- Coordinate with Fellows, staff, and partners to amplify shared content.
