Our client is actively seeking a qualified and passionate Virtual High School Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging and effective instruction to students remotely. This role is essential for providing students with a robust educational experience regardless of their physical location. You will be responsible for developing and delivering lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and interactive online learning environment. Key duties include preparing students for standardized mathematics assessments, differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, and maintaining clear and consistent communication with students, parents, and the academic administration. You will leverage various digital tools and educational platforms to create dynamic learning experiences, including virtual labs, interactive whiteboards, and collaborative projects. Providing timely and constructive feedback on assignments and assessments is crucial. This position requires excellent classroom management skills adapted for an online setting, strong subject matter expertise in high school mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, etc.), and a commitment to student success. A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education is mandatory, along with a valid teaching certification or license. A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching mathematics at the high school level is required, with prior experience in online or blended learning environments being a significant advantage. Strong technological proficiency and the ability to troubleshoot common online learning issues are essential. The ideal candidate is patient, organized, and possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong rapport with students through virtual channels.
