Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote Logistics and Warehousing team. This role is instrumental in optimizing the company's supply chain operations, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and improved service levels. You will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, developing data-driven solutions, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, expertise in supply chain management principles, proficiency with relevant software and tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment. You will play a key role in forecasting, inventory management, transportation optimization, and warehouse efficiency.

- Develop and maintain supply chain models and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and logistics costs.
- Optimize inventory levels across warehouses to meet demand while minimizing holding costs.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to warehouse operations, including layout, process flows, and technology utilization.
- Analyze transportation routes, carriers, and costs to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Support the forecasting process by providing data-driven insights and collaborating with demand planning teams.
- Assist in the selection and implementation of supply chain technologies and software solutions.
- Develop business cases for supply chain improvement projects, presenting findings and recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, operations, sales) and external partners (suppliers, carriers) to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
- Monitor supplier performance and work to improve delivery reliability and quality.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain and logistics.
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support the development and implementation of robust supply chain strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations.
- Proven experience in analyzing complex datasets and developing data-driven recommendations.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with supply chain planning and execution software (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
- In-depth understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and collaborate across departments.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is desirable.
