Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solar Power Engineer to join their growing team in **Malindi, Kilifi, KE**. This is a critical role responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of photovoltaic (PV) systems, grid integration, and renewable energy technologies. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our solar power installations.

- Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution from inception to completion.
- Conduct site inspections, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of existing solar installations to identify and resolve issues.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in solar technology, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, environmental regulations, and building codes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in solar power project design and engineering.
- Proven experience with solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope).
- Strong understanding of power electronics, grid codes, and energy storage systems.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in technical report writing and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with local building codes and environmental regulations in Kenya.
- This hybrid role requires a commitment to working from our **Malindi, Kilifi, KE** office a minimum of 3 days per week, with the flexibility for remote work on other days.
