You will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying robust and scalable applications on leading cloud platforms. Responsibilities include leading a team of developers, architecting complex software systems, writing high-quality, maintainable code, and ensuring the performance and security of applications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience. Expertise in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is essential, along with proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#). Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines is required. You should possess excellent problem-solving abilities, a strong grasp of software development best practices, and experience with agile methodologies. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior developers, contribute to technical decision-making, and drive innovation within the engineering department. This position requires strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. While the role offers hybrid flexibility, candidates should be able to commute to our client's office in Meru, Meru, KE as needed for team meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions.
