Our client, a prominent player in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer for a fully remote role focused on technical analysis and reservoir management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of reservoir characterization, simulation, and production optimization techniques. You will be responsible for evaluating hydrocarbon reserves, forecasting production, and recommending strategies to maximize recovery from oil and gas assets. This position requires advanced analytical skills, proficiency in reservoir simulation software, and the ability to interpret complex geological and engineering data to drive informed decision-making. Collaboration with exploration, production, and management teams will be conducted primarily through digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream Oil & Gas sector. Proven experience with major reservoir simulation software packages (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, Petrel RE) is mandatory. Strong understanding of reservoir physics, fluid properties, and formation evaluation techniques is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required. The ability to work independently and manage complex projects remotely is critical. Key Responsibilities:
