  • Design and conduct in-silico experiments to investigate biological mechanisms and pathways.
  • Build and validate predictive models using machine learning and statistical approaches.
  • Collaborate with experimental biologists to interpret omics data and guide research directions.
  • Develop software tools and pipelines for bioinformatics analysis.
  • Present research findings at scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed publications.
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to a collaborative research environment.
  • Stay current with advancements in computational biology and relevant technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of postdoctoral or industry research experience in computational biology.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, or other omics data.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and/or C++.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with biological databases and bioinformatics tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for scientific dissemination.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote research setting.
