Our client is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Renewable Energy Engineer with a specific focus on Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems. This fully remote position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the development and deployment of clean energy solutions across diverse projects. You will be responsible for the technical design, performance analysis, and project management of solar PV installations, from initial concept through to commissioning. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, solar technology, and relevant industry standards. You will collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of high-performance, cost-effective solar energy systems. - Evaluate and select solar components (modules, inverters, mounting systems) based on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning process, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
- Perform performance monitoring and troubleshooting of operational solar PV systems.
- Stay abreast of advancements in solar technology, energy storage, and grid integration.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for potential solar projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the company's technical expertise in renewable energy.
