Our client seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Acquisitions Manager to join their thriving, fully remote team. This critical role involves identifying, evaluating, and securing profitable real estate opportunities across various sectors. As a remote position, you will leverage digital platforms and virtual communication to build relationships, negotiate deals, and drive portfolio growth from your home office.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and source potential commercial and residential real estate acquisition opportunities through market analysis, networking, and broker relationships.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective properties, including market research, financial analysis, site inspections (where feasible via local agents/partners), and legal review.
  • Develop detailed financial models to assess property profitability, ROI, and risk exposure.
  • Negotiate purchase agreements, terms, and conditions with sellers and their representatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive acquisition proposals and present them to the investment committee.
  • Manage relationships with brokers, developers, legal counsel, and other industry professionals.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, property values, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate acquisition landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with the asset management and development teams to ensure seamless integration of acquired properties.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of potential acquisitions and track progress through the deal cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and legal requirements related to property acquisition.
  • Mentor and guide junior acquisition team members in their professional development.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the company's real estate portfolio expansion.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in real estate acquisitions, preferably within a private equity, development, or investment firm.
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring properties and meeting financial targets.
  • Strong understanding of real estate valuation methods, financial analysis, and market research.
  • Expertise in negotiation, contract review, and deal structuring.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling, and familiarity with real estate databases (e.g., CoStar, REIS).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
