  • Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and assess market trends.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement and supply chain professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their needs and ensure a seamless supply of materials and services.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices in supply chain management and procurement.
  • Oversee the budgeting and financial management of the procurement department.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management techniques.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex projects in a remote setting.
  • Understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • CIPS or equivalent certification is a significant advantage.
