This role is crucial for advancing the integration of renewable energy sources into existing and future power grids. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of power system analysis, grid stability, renewable energy technologies (solar, wind), energy storage systems, and grid interconnection standards. You will be responsible for designing, modeling, and analyzing complex power systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant regulations. Your tasks will include conducting power flow studies, transient stability analyses, fault studies, and harmonic analyses using industry-standard software such as PSS/E, ETAP, or PSCAD. You will play a key role in developing interconnection studies for renewable energy projects, assessing their impact on grid performance and stability. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of grid modernization strategies, including smart grid technologies and demand-side management solutions. This position requires exceptional analytical skills, a strong grasp of electrical engineering principles, and the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable recommendations. - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in power systems analysis and design.
- Proficiency in power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD, PowerFactory).
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, grid interconnection, and energy storage.
- Knowledge of grid codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
