Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches, intrusions, and other cyber threats.
- Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.

- Manage and optimize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCIE Security, GIAC) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network security engineering, with a focus on telecommunications networks.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security technologies.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS solutions, and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security tasks.
- Experience with cloud security principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex security issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a remote, distributed team.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and incident response frameworks.
