Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Logistics Operations Manager to lead their remote logistics operations. This is a fully remote position, focused on optimizing supply chain efficiency and driving operational excellence across warehousing and transportation functions. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing logistics strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery times. This includes managing relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and suppliers, ensuring performance meets or exceeds contractual obligations. A key aspect of your role will involve analyzing logistics data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions for continuous improvement. You will oversee inventory management, warehouse operations, and transportation planning, leveraging technology and best practices to streamline workflows. Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to manage complex supply chains remotely, communicate effectively with distributed teams, and drive change within an organization is paramount. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of making data-driven decisions. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with at least 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record in operations management. Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems) is highly desirable.
