Job Description
As a remote Senior Geologist, you will work closely with mine engineers, metallurgists, and other geoscientists to develop robust resource models that comply with international reporting standards (e.g., JORC, NI 43-101). Your duties will include reviewing core logging data, validating drillhole information, and developing geological interpretations. You will also contribute to the preparation of technical reports, peer reviews, and due diligence assessments. The ability to interpret complex geological datasets and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a strong understanding of geological principles, geostatistics, and mining software. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality results within project timelines. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mineral resource estimation, preferably in base metals or precious metals. Experience with Leapfrog Geo, Vulcan, Surpac, or similar 3D modeling software is mandatory.
