Responsibilities include: Acquiring, processing, and interpreting remote sensing data (e.g., multispectral, hyperspectral, radar imagery) for geological applications; Utilizing GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) to analyze spatial geological data and create prospectivity maps; Integrating geophysical, geochemical, and drilling data with remote sensing datasets; Developing and applying advanced analytical methods for mineral prospect identification; Collaborating with exploration geologists and geophysicists to define drill targets; Preparing technical reports and presentations for management and exploration teams; Staying abreast of the latest advancements in remote sensing technology and geological data analysis; Mentoring junior geologists in data interpretation and analysis techniques; Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the exploration workflow.

The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Earth Science field, with a specialization in remote sensing or data analysis. A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience in mineral exploration is required, with a strong emphasis on the application of remote sensing and GIS techniques. Proven proficiency with remote sensing software (e.g., ENVI, ERDAS Imagine) and GIS platforms is essential. Experience with programming languages commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R) for geological data analysis is highly desirable. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are a must, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment is crucial. A deep understanding of geological processes and mineral deposit models is expected.
