Our client, a dynamic and innovative digital media company, is seeking a talented Senior Film and Video Editor to bring creative visions to life. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your professional home studio. You will be responsible for editing a wide range of video content, including promotional videos, short films, documentaries, and social media clips, ensuring a high standard of visual storytelling and technical quality. Your role will involve collaborating closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to achieve the desired aesthetic and narrative impact. Key responsibilities include assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, adding music, sound effects, and graphics, and ensuring seamless transitions and pacing. You will also be responsible for color correction, sound mixing, and final rendering of video projects. A strong understanding of narrative structure, visual composition, and pacing is essential. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional technical proficiency with leading editing software, and a proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and maintaining version control is important. - Assemble raw footage and select the best takes to create compelling narratives.

- Ensure smooth transitions, consistent pacing, and high-quality audio-visual output.
- Perform color correction and grading to achieve desired aesthetic.
- Collaborate with creative teams to understand project requirements and deliver final cuts.
- Manage and organize project files and assets effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest editing techniques and software advancements.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing and post-production.
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Video Editor.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
- Excellent knowledge of video codecs, formats, and delivery specifications.
- Experience with motion graphics and sound design is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
