Our client is seeking a highly proficient Senior Field Service Engineer specializing in Robotics and Automation to join their dedicated remote support team. This role is crucial for providing expert on-site technical support, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of sophisticated robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment. While the core duties involve on-site interventions, this role is managed and coordinated remotely, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills from a distance. You will be the technical frontline, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance for our client's advanced industrial clients.

- Provide comprehensive technical training and support to client personnel on system operation and maintenance.
- Document all service activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and recommended actions.
- Liaise with engineering and development teams to provide feedback on product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage service schedules and prioritize tasks to meet client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Utilize remote diagnostic tools and software to assist in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during on-site operations.
- Maintain detailed records of spare parts inventory and manage stock levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in field service, installation, and maintenance of industrial robotics and automation systems.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI development, and industrial networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Experience with robotic systems from major manufacturers (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on assignment.
- Willingness to travel extensively to client sites as required.
- Familiarity with CAD software and technical documentation interpretation is a plus.
