Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Facilities Management Lead to oversee and optimize the operational efficiency of their facilities. This is a fully remote position, requiring exceptional self-management and communication skills to coordinate a diverse range of maintenance, repair, and operational activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage vendors, control budgets, and ensure a safe and functional environment for all stakeholders.

- Conduct regular site inspections (virtually and as needed, with travel allowance) to assess conditions and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Develop and manage the facilities operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Oversee space planning, office moves, and workplace accommodations.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of building systems and equipment.
- Respond promptly and effectively to facilities-related emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and asset management.
- Lead and mentor a team of facilities support staff (where applicable).
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives within facilities management.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with a strong emphasis on operational oversight.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale facilities operations, preferably across multiple locations.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and negotiate contracts with vendors.
- In-depth knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and maintenance best practices.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and standard office productivity tools.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a remote work environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facilities Manager) are highly desirable.
