  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, software engineers, product managers) in a remote setting to define project requirements and integrate AI solutions.
  • Conduct research on new AI/ML techniques and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Manage the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, validation, and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure for large-scale visual datasets.
  • Evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary enhancements.
  • Stay current with the latest research papers, industry trends, and best practices in AI, ML, and Computer Vision.
  • Mentor junior AI/ML engineers and contribute to fostering a collaborative remote work environment.
  • Document model architectures, algorithms, and experimental results thoroughly.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong specialization in Computer Vision.
  • Proven expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python.
  • Solid understanding of classical computer vision algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience with large-scale image and video datasets and associated preprocessing techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for ML model deployment and management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead projects effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for working with distributed teams.
  • Experience with MLOps practices and tools is a plus.
