- Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to farmers, agronomists, and other stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in remote sensing, GIS, precision agriculture, and agronomy.
- Contribute to the development of new products and services utilizing remote sensing technologies.
- Mentor junior data scientists and agronomists on the team.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Remote Sensing, Geography, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in applying remote sensing and GIS technologies to agriculture.
- Proven expertise in image processing software (e.g., ERDAS Imagine, ENVI, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python).
- Strong understanding of crop physiology, soil science, and agronomic principles.
- Experience with different satellite platforms and sensor types.
- Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and visualization skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
