This pivotal role will be responsible for optimizing room revenue, market share, and overall profitability through strategic pricing, forecasting, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the luxury travel market, demand forecasting methodologies, and revenue management systems. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and implement effective strategies that maximize revenue across all distribution channels. Qualifications:
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize room revenue and achieve profitability targets.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, including competitor pricing, demand forecasting, and market segmentation.
- Manage room inventory and pricing across all distribution channels (e.g., GDS, OTAs, direct bookings).
- Optimize pricing strategies based on demand, seasonality, local events, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare accurate short-term and long-term revenue forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional offers and packages.
- Analyze booking pace, cancellation patterns, and conversion rates to identify opportunities and risks.
- Implement and manage revenue management systems and tools effectively.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on revenue performance to senior management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in revenue management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management, with a proven track record in the luxury hospitality sector.
- In-depth knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing strategies, and forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency with revenue management systems (RMS) and channel managers (e.g., Duetto, IDeaS, TravelClick).
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions in a remote setting.
- Understanding of the global luxury travel market dynamics.
