Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Talent Acquisition Lead to build and scale their teams, with a specific focus on sourcing top-tier talent in the technology and engineering sectors. This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Kenya, supporting recruitment efforts for a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the tech and engineering job markets, coupled with proven experience in developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies. You will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, from defining hiring needs with hiring managers to extending offers. This includes sourcing candidates through various channels (job boards, LinkedIn, professional networks, events), conducting initial screenings, managing candidate pipelines, and ensuring a superior candidate experience. You will also play a key role in employer branding initiatives, helping to position our client as an employer of choice. Developing and implementing effective strategies for diversity and inclusion in hiring will be a core responsibility. The role requires strong negotiation skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is essential. You will work closely with senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and develop long-term talent acquisition strategies. This position demands exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with significant experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the technology or engineering industries. Experience managing a remote recruitment team or function is a strong asset. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on tech and engineering recruitment.
- Proven track record of successfully filling technical roles.
- Expertise in using various sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Excellent understanding of recruitment best practices and employment law.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
