This fully remote role is critical for enhancing the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of their warehousing and distribution operations. You will be responsible for analyzing complex logistical data, identifying bottlenecks, and developing innovative solutions to streamline the entire supply chain process. Key responsibilities include forecasting demand, optimizing inventory levels, managing transportation routes, evaluating supplier performance, and implementing best practices in warehousing. You will utilize advanced data analytics tools and methodologies to model various scenarios, assess risks, and recommend improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative background with expertise in supply chain management principles. Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is essential. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is also highly valued. Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with strong communication and presentation abilities, are required to effectively convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. You must be adept at working independently in a remote setting, managing projects with autonomy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A deep understanding of global trade regulations, warehousing best practices, and transportation economics is necessary.
