Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of child safety and well-being. You will develop and implement individualized service plans for children and families, ensuring timely follow-up and progress monitoring. Providing counseling and support to children and families experiencing challenges will be a core function. Collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, legal professionals, and other community agencies to coordinate services and advocate for the best interests of the child is essential. Maintaining accurate and confidential case records, adhering to all reporting requirements, and participating in team meetings and case consultations are critical aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and possess relevant professional registration or licensing as a Social Worker. At least 3-5 years of experience in child welfare services is required. Demonstrated knowledge of child development, family dynamics, and child protection laws is essential. Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills are crucial for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational and time-management abilities are necessary for managing a caseload effectively in a remote setting.
