Our client, a prestigious investment banking firm, is seeking a Remote Senior Quantitative Analyst to join their sophisticated finance team. This fully remote role requires a candidate with exceptional analytical, mathematical, and programming skills to develop and implement complex financial models. You will be instrumental in pricing complex derivatives, managing risk, and optimizing trading strategies across various asset classes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets, a strong foundation in quantitative finance, and extensive experience with statistical modeling, programming languages (e.g., Python, C++), and data analysis. Your work will directly impact the firm's trading performance and risk management framework. This position demands a high level of intellectual rigor, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.

- Develop, implement, and backtest quantitative models for pricing, risk management, and trading strategies.
- Analyze large datasets to identify market patterns, trends, and trading opportunities.
- Design and implement risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to understand their needs and provide quantitative solutions.
- Build and maintain high-quality code for quantitative models and analytics tools.
- Perform statistical analysis and econometric modeling.
- Research and evaluate new quantitative techniques and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on model performance and risk exposures.
- Contribute to the development of new financial products and derivatives.
- Mentor junior quantitative analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Automate reporting processes and improve data quality.
- Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience as a Quantitative Analyst in investment banking, hedge funds, or asset management.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, R, or similar languages.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, time series analysis, and machine learning techniques.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, derivatives pricing, and risk management.
- Experience with large-scale data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex projects in a remote setting.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) is a plus.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for financial modeling is beneficial.
